The picturesque fishing villages of Noss Mayo and Newton Ferrers, with their shops, pubs and marine activity are also only 1 mile. Dartmoor, with walking and riding opportunities, is 8 miles. Excellent local fishing, three superb golf courses, mountain biking and cycling trails, and a host of attractions to suit all tastes are all within easy reach. The small town of Ivybridge has an excellent leisure centre. Plymouth is 12 miles.
